A Typical Summer Day

The kids in the neighborhood, "my kids" as Buxton calls them, are all older than Buxton. So during school B would go insane, asking me all day when his kids were going to be home from school. Finally they're home - school is out for summer. Our house seems to be the neighborhood kid hang-out, which I actually enjoy! Yes, there are more toys and messes to clean up during the day, but Buxton is very entertained. The kids spend most their time out back, riding toys, playing with chalk, and of course, swimming. We inheirited a 'bounce house' from our neighbors, the kids LOVE it. They are pretty rough with it, but considering it was free, with a few holes, we let them play their little hearts out. We try to send everyone home for a quiet lunch and nap for Brayleigh, but it doesn't take long before our door starts knocking! This particular summer day, the kids started out by turning the bounce house upside down and jumping from the slide onto the house. They were getting a hoot out of it. Once the heat set in, they headed in for a snack and movie. But you can't keep them contained for too long, back out back... this time they added water!
