R&R with Daddy

On Mother's Day, Matthew came home for his two week R&R. This family was busy! We spent a whole day in Dallas, visiting Uncle Jared, as well as the Dallas World Aquarium. We took the kids to Sea World, it turned out to be an uneventful day, but we still enjoyed ourselves, just being together. Matthew and I got away for a three day romantic stay on the San Antonio River Walk. Our long awaited honey-moon if you will! We also celebrated Buxton's 2nd Birthday (a month early for Daddy)! As a family, we indulged in the little things people take for granted, barbecuing in the backyard, playing in the pool, and enjoying lazy movie days! Buxton loved the excitement and rambunctiousness that Daddy brought and I sometime forget to fill in. Matthew treasured his precious moments will his little girl. She was at an age that Matthew didn't get to experience with Buxton. Although it was too short, we had a memorable time together. We are already counting down the days to see Daddy again, hopefully before Santa!
