Nothin' beats an afternoon at Chuck E Cheese for a birthday party! The kids enjoyed their independence this time, I let them rome a little on their own. They did great!

on the way home from school today, buxton was singing a song he learned in sunday school about God being up in the sky. we talked about that {heaven} for a little bit and then buxton said, "so does God press a button for rain and clouds and thunder and sun?" oh he was serious! it was precious. i couldn't help but burst out into laughter. i informed buxton that God doesn't need a button, He commands the rain to fall and it obeys.

time for another birthday party. our neighbor, and friend, emma, turned 4! we celebrated her today with a princess themed party! buxton dressed as a gentlemen!

Parent Teacher Conference

Meet Ms. Beeson

We had Buxton's parent teacher conference last night. All is great. His teacher and classmates love him. Beeson couldn't stress it more, Buxton is the prom king of the class. She said all the girls follow him around and love him. I've even had parents of the girls in the class come up to me and say they know all about Buxton. And likewise, Ms Beeson has parents asking, "which ones Buxton?!" Ladies man.

Like father like son!!

Beeson said the only thing Buxton needs to work on is peer pressure. If he's around someone who is making a bad choice, he'll join in. uh oh.

I had a chance to look through his daily drawing journal. He draws and then the teacher come around and writes what he says he drew. It almost made me cry! His journal is precious. B has such an imagination.

Texas Tumblers Birthday Party

A family from church celebrated their sons 4th birthday at Texas Tumblers. The kids had a great time jumping into the foam pit. And of course, I had my fun too! Rope Swing!! Even Brayleigh gave the rope swing a try.
