The Patch

This year we chose Sweet Berry Farms in Marble Falls, Texas for our pumpkin pickin'. It was an over priced, over crowded patch, but we still had a good time. We went with our friends, and neighbors, the Traweeks, the kids always seem to have more fun when we do things together! The farm harvests' strawberries during the year and sell strawberry lemon aid and strawberry popsicles during pumpkin season... OH MY GOODNESS!! Amazing. My favorite part. We all enjoyed picking out pumpkins, finding our way through the corn maze, and stuffing our very own scare crow. I love family time.

Play Times

Mail Time! We received our Halloween Box from my parents the other day. Complete with rain gear, slippers, and lots of treats. The kids and I just love mail time. Thanks Family!

Pre-K Student

Matthew had Friday off, so we headed up to the school and surprised Buxton for lunch! We all enjoyed a lunchable lunch and a make-n-take craft. Buxton is doing awesome in school. Matthew and I are so proud of him. He comes home everyday and talks to us about what he learned. OF course, the first thing he talks about is PE and Music class, the last two classes of the day. The other night at dinner Buxton told us "it's not Sep-tem-ber it's Oc-to-ber" He even did hand claps with the syllables. It was the cutest thing we have ever seen. His teacher is very fond on Buxton, and vis versa. We are lucky! I am volunteering in Buxton's class every Friday, which is an awesome way to not only peek in on Buxton but get to know his friends and teacher! Buxton talks about the kids in his class often. He is very confused on how he has a Uncle Noah and a friend in class named Noah. It makes me smile when I pick Buxton up from school and several students say "Bye Buxton!!!" How cute. Buxton is very proud of himself and enjoys everyday at school.

Sometimes men get stinky and dirty. What can ya do? First, find a place with some beautifully masculine "greenery" in the background....then spray down and soap up.

Give it all a little shake...(repeat as necessary)...

Then play some ball and show off your skill. Nice catch Hutch.

Then strut on back to lay in the mud and make your dad angry because he has to wash you again but this time you'll go straight inside the house which isn't much better because you just get onto the couch and make mommy angry and your brother yells at you and sissy tries to get kisses then you just go right back outside. Men will be men.

Sock Hop

Buxton's school had their annual Sock Hop this past weekend... what a disappointment it turned out to be. The 50's dances growing up were the highlight of my elementary school days. The decorations, games, costumes, pictures! What a blast! Not this time. The school did a horrible job making this event anything more then a gathering in the cafeteria. We were four out of about ten people dressed for the occasions... not how I remember it. With all that said, we enjoyed the dancing and getting all dresed up.
