BB Bow-tique News

I will be sharing my flowers with all of Killeen Texas. A local consignment shop, Stork Daddy's, offered to sell my product. I am so excited for the next step for my BB Bow-tique. I feel so blessed with all the opportunities coming my way.

Mother's Day

My family took such good care of me on Mother's Day. I have been dreaming of having a garden to grow fruits, vegetables, and flowers but since we move often, I never thought it would be worth the time and money. Matthew pulled some strings, learned some gardening facts and gathered some supplies and threw a gardening Mother's Day party for me! My husband is an amazing, caring man, and he had our children well trained that day!!!

We spent the rest of the day in Salado, Texas. A little slice of Washington. Matthew called it the Edmonds of Texas. For you Northwesters, this river won't be anything too special. But to us... stranded in flat Texas military folk, we were in AW of the gorgeous river and lushes green trees in Salado. A perfect touch of HOME. I told Matthew all I wanted for Mother's Day was a picnic lunch, I got it... and then some! We spent the day with our toes in the water, walking the shops, and picnicking at the park.

My favorite dessert (if I had to pick) Banana Split! Buxton wanted orange sprinkles and no banana... We've heard this is where Matthew was.... thought of! Such a cool tree.

Paintings for Daddy

Matthew had to leave us for a week long training at Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio. The kids and I missed him so much, and we could hardly wait for his return. In the hours leading up to Daddy's arrival we did some finger painting. The pictures put an even bigger smile on Daddy's face when he came home. Matthew spent the week in a required training to work towards his promotion to Staff Sergent. His days began at 4am and ended at 10pm, plus studying time. Although he was one of the lowest ranking men in the class, he had the highest test scores! That's our soldier and we're so proud of him.

A Moment

When they aren't fighting like cats and dogs, like brother and sister, they have a blast together. B and B were playing peek-a-boo, that brother can sure make his sissy laugh.

Watermelon

Brayleigh Ann had her first watermelon experience... and she LOVED it. She came back to the table all evening to get more. She was a huge, sticky mess. But oh how it was cute.

Swimming Party with Delaney

We had little Miss Delaney over for a swimming party! The kids have a blast together... when they aren't fighting the differences between boys and girls! Buxton wants to splash and chase while Delaney perfers things more neat and calm. It's fun. Can't get enough of those pig tales and zebra print swimming suit, Brayleigh Ann!
